Vintage Green River Whiskey token. Here's a little history of this piece:

Hard to find 1930's token!
This is the coin favored by Ted Annemann as his palming coin of choice.

Theodore "Theo" Annemann (born Theodore John Squires; February 22, 1907 – January 12, 1942), was an American professional magician who is most famous for inventing and refining many of the great mentalism routines that are still popular today.
He was also the publisher and editor of the famous Jinx magic magazine.
And he was also an amazing coin manipulator.

This Green River Whiskey token was the kind of palming coin Annemann liked to use the most.
Quite possibly because the coin was free!

Oldetyme Distillers, Inc. of New York City initially distributed Green River Whiskey tokens in the mid-30's.
The tokens were used as a form of cheap advertising for them.
Someone at the company got the idea that the coins would make great palming coins for magicians.
So in 1935, Oldtyme Distillers took out a full page ad in the Linking Ring magic magazine, offering a set of 50 coins to any magician who asked for them, no strings attached.
Annemann began using the coins himself, finding them especially easy to manipulate.

This is one of the coins given out by the distillery.
